Established in 2007, the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation (WWIA) is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Apollo Beach, Florida. The WWIA is dedicated to serving our nation's combat wounded, Purple Heart recipients, by providing world-class outdoor sporting activities.
Skinner Creek Hunts and the WWIAF
Skinner Creek Hunts has the honour of donating a black bear hunt each year in June. to the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation.
I, Doug McMann, personally feel hunting with a Wounded Warrior Hero is something that everyone should do at some point in their life. It is a fulfilling experience and means a lot for the Hero you will share this hunt with.
Here is how this works: you pay the cost of the hunt to Wounded Warriors in Action with the donation tagged Skinner Creek Hunts and WWIAF will in turn give you a tax receipt for your donation. WWIAF pays Skinner Creek for the hunt and lines up a Hero to join us for the week .
This year, Skinner Creek is offering two spots for spring black bear. The cost of this hunt for you, a hero and the hero’s chaperone is $7000.00. This includes the price of your license and bear tags.
This is $3000.00 below the regular price of a 2 on one hunt.
